The 719S is a keypad that can be used for applications where a full keyboard is not possible.

The 719S is a Serial keypad that has included software to post characters to the keyboard port. So, this keypad acts like the keypad on the right side of a standard keyboard. This may be useful when a full keyboard is not required for user functionality, or when additional keys are required. An additional application for this keypad is for a laptop portable computer. This keypad can act like an un-included keypad, as that of a full sized keyboard, for a laptop with a setting to have an independent Num Lock toggle.
